Our World

KLORILLA was born from the love between a mom and daughter.

As an ICU and cardiovascular nurse, my life has always centered around caring for others through some of their most fragile moments. But fashion was always something I deeply loved — a creative escape, a form of expression, and a passion that stayed with me long before KLORILLA existed.

I loved traveling — discovering new places, experiencing different cultures, and noticing the beauty in how people around the world live, create, dress, and celebrate. To me, fashion was always a form of art, and now— KLORILLA has become a way to bring those pieces of the world, and the feelings they left behind, into something I could create with my own heart.

But—let’s rewind. Somewhere in becoming Chloe’s mom, I lost little pieces of who I was. I poured so much of myself into loving her, protecting her, and learning how to be the mother she deserved that, for a while, I forgot about the woman I had been before her. Although it took me a while to rediscover myself—it actually happened through her.

Little Chloe began becoming Chloé!

Her personality started to unfold — her curiosity, her confidence, her sensitivity, her determination, and all the little things that make her entirely her own. And somehow, while watching her discover herself, I began recognizing pieces of myself in her.

She reminded me of the woman who loved to create. The woman who loved fashion, art, traveling, discovering different cultures, and finding beauty in places she had never been before. Parts of me I thought I had left behind weren’t gone at all. They were simply waiting to be found again.

In raising my daughter, she was quietly helping me rediscover myself.

And that became KLORILLA.

A place where motherhood and the woman I was before motherhood didn’t have to exist separately. Where my love of fashion, travel, culture, art, and storytelling could become something tangible — something I could someday leave behind for her.

Every emotion I pour into these pieces holds a memory of me: somewhere I’ve been, something I’ve felt, a piece of my heritage, a place that inspired me, or a moment with her I never wanted to forget.

Maybe one day, when Chloé is finding her own way through the world, she’ll find pieces of me too. Not so that she becomes the woman I was, but so she can take everything I gave her, add everything that is uniquely hers, and become a queen far greater than I ever imagined for myself.

And Chloé, if you read this one day —
you were the little girl who helped me find myself again. Everything I create carries a piece of me, but KLORILLA will always carry the biggest piece of you.

I hope you grow beyond every dream I’ve ever had for myself, see more of the world than I ever have, and become exactly the woman you were meant to be.

I love you, my little queen. Always.

— Mommy
